We’re developing a new route along the River Ouse to help people see York’s rivers in a new light – blending creativity, climate education, and local stories.
Co-designed with communities and schools, the project invites people to explore how flood resilience and nature-based solutions are shaping a more climate-ready York.
Get involved
We’re looking for schools, community groups, artists and partners to help shape the project. Opportunities include:
- funded workshops and artist residencies in schools
- community engagement and storytelling
- sponsorship and collaboration
The route will run from Clifton Ings, possibly to Naburn Lock, with activities beginning in summer 2025.

We’ll be sharing more soon - and if your organisation would like to be involved, we’d love to hear from you.
