We’re developing a new route along the River Ouse to help people see York’s rivers in a new light – blending creativity, climate education, and local stories.
Co-designed with communities and schools, the project invites people to explore how flood resilience and nature-based solutions are shaping a more climate-ready York.
Get involved
We’re working with schools, community groups, artists and partners to help shape the project.
Opportunities include:
funded workshops and artist residencies in schools
community engagement and storytelling
sponsorship and collaboration
The trail will follow the River Ouse, combining art, science and local voices to share York’s rivers and resilience. Activities and installations will continue to grow throughout 2025 and 2026.
