Farmers and landowners
Join us in a collaborative effort to deliver natural flood management (NFM) across North Yorkshire’s Swale, Ure, Nidd and Ouse (SUNO) river catchments.
Working with you and our project partners, our delivery team will:
- utilise cutting-edge modelling and design to work with you and help guide your land management decisions, optimising benefits to you and the environment as well as informing national practices for the future
- design your bespoke scheme with your input
- work hand-in-hand with our partners to obtain all necessary licenses, planning permissions and funding
- deliver your scheme, working with trusted, local partners and building regional capacity
- leave you with a management and maintenance plan, including additional funding opportunities
Your support in increasing sustainable land management practices and Ousewem’s holistic approach will fortify at-risk North Yorkshire communities against flooding and benefit the environment by maintaining a healthy ecosystem, ultimately contributing to a resilient and adaptive agricultural community.
